Guru Purnima- Its Importance and History

  In the Hindu calendar, the Poonam coming in Ashadh is called Guru Purnima . Guru Purnima is on the 13th of July this year. Krishna Dvaipayana i.e. Vyasa ji was born on this day, who wrote the Mahabharata. Today we will know about him and about the importance of Guru Purnima in history.  The original name of Ved Vyas was Krishna Dvaipayana.
