Why Bollywood is become very weak industry?

10 years ago Bollywood had so much fame that if some foreigners talk about the Indian film industry they have only one name Bollywood. Every Indian is a fan of actors and actresses. Some hero has so much fame that even if they made the worst movie the movie becomes successful at the box office. They are stars at that time.

Now when we see the current situation of Bollywood there is not like before in the last 5 years only some countable movies get success at the box office. Yet some movies run successfully at the box office. This happened because in the last decade Indian audiences get attracted to the south and foreign movies because of the availability of dubbed versions of these movies. Also, the audience realized that whatever they think that Bollywood comes with the different stories they are mostly remade from south industries or foreign movies.

Because of the release of the dubbed version of great movies now Bollywood can't make a remake of these movies. Now Bollywood has the same story of romance, crime thriller, patriotism, and comedy. Because they don't try something new they become unable to attract a new audience who is now used to seeing different types of stories and movies. Only some hard-core fans are left who are ready to see a movie of some actor.

On 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput mysteriously died. Whether it's a Murder or Suicide one thing people realized is that Bollywood wants a monopoly of some actors and stoping new actors and directors to enter the industry. People belives that Because he is an outsider or because of some pressure given by Bollywood this happened. Not only this the whole industry stays silent about this accident because of this people feels wrong for him and decides not to watch any Bollywood film.

After lockdown, not a single movie gets a good collection at the box office. Now people want to support some new stand-alone movie like Kasmir Files whose director get banned( Before this film Bollywood try to stop the release of his film) from Bollywood because he follows a different political ideology.

Now we have to see if Bollywood can get come back or not and this is a different topic we will discuss in the future.
