Yogvashishtha maharamayan

Many texts have been written in our culture, the most known are  Gita, Vedas, and Upanishads, and they are important but today we will talk about a scripture about which very few people know.

No one will tell you to read the entire Mahabharata, but it must have been said that read the Gita. why? Because the most important part is it, don't read the entire Mahabharata, but read Gita once. the Gita which is said in it has so much power that it can change your thoughts, your attitude, and your life. If you read the scriptures, you will see that there is a questioner who is eager to know about that subject and an answerer who knows everything about that subject, be it Gita or Upanishad, it is the same in all.

If I ask you, what is the part of Ramayana in which a curious questioner asks a question and an enlightened person gives his true, on-the-point, and accurate answer, a part which is as enlightening as the Gita? That part is Yogavashisht Maharamayana. Where Shri Ram asks questions and Vashistha Ji who is the perfect Gnani and Guru of Ram ji answers.

Ramji was about 16 years old and had just completed his Gurukul . After the completion of the gurukul, Ram Ji and his brothers go for a tour(Tirthyatra) of India and Ram Ji gets vairagya, after coming from Tirthyatra, he used to sit in his room and ask himself many questions, during this time Rishi Vishwamitra used to come. cause in his Yagya, demons become an obstacle, he wants ram to protect them from demons, he gives such a command to Dasharatha, as king loves the Rama very much, then at first he refuses, but the rest agrees on persuading the sages, only then comes the matter. Since Ram Ji has vairagya, he did not come out of his room for a few days, only then did sage Vashisht, who is Ram Ji's guru, comes to know that Ram Ji has attained vairagya, only then the rest of the sages requested him to give Atma Gyan(Brahma Gyan) to Rama and Vashishth ji agrees. so this is our Yogvashishtha Maharamayan.

There are total 6 prakrana in this book.
1- Vairagya Prakrana
2- Mumukshu Prakrana
3- Utpati Prakrana
4- Sthiti Prakrana
5- Upsam Prakrana
6- Nirvana Prakrana

This book has some features which are not seen in any other book, let's talk about it.

1. best questioner

If you see Ram Ji on TV, then you are shown to be completely naive, but if you want to see his curiosity, his cleverness, then this book will give you the knowledge of how clever Ram Ji was. I have not seen in the whole book that Vashistha Ji spoke and Ram Ji agreed without asking any questions. You will know this thing properly when you read this book because nowadays great importance is given to the questioning mind. Asking questions may be simple but asking questions on facts like Ram Ji really takes the reader by surprise.

2. Criticism-

Nowadays criticism is considered to be cool, but today's criticism are only upon humans, ideology and thoughts and not on way of life and life itself, I saw it for the first time that someone is criticising life with his intelligence, the description of the vairagya given by Ram, If you read, you will see how much Ram Ji thought about this world, in the account of his detachment, you will see these thoughts which may not have come anywhere in you.

3. Brahma Satyam Jaganmitha

You must have heard this Mahavakya, but have seen this sentence to be proved by reasoning. In this, you will see a Vashishtha proving this by giving a lot of facts and examples.

There are many other things that we get to know from this book, such as how this world was created, not a direct answer that God created, but how all things or elements were created and how this world is spread, What is mind, what is intellect, what is soul, what is Brahman, how different universes exist, the concept of the multiverse, how the cycle of time moves, this book teaches us many things. We will discuss all these things but for now, this is just this lovely introduction to give you some idea about this book.

Let's see you in the next blog.

The Spiritory - Vibhishan's Path to Dharma (Part 1)

It's summer season and today is Saturday i.e. half-holiday, so on this day Vivek, Sameer, and Vineet decided to go to Sameer's farm and eat delicious mangoes. The school bell rings at 11.30, and all three walk towards Sameer's farm. After reaching, all three keep their bags and go to eat mangoes. Vineet was thirsty so he went to drink water, then Sameer tells Vivek  Sameer- “ Look at that branch of this tree, it seems strong! But from inside its not." ( Vivek Sees that and agrees.) Sameer further says, "Why don't we offer Vineet to climb on  this branch and he will fall from there ." (with a mischievous smile) After Sameer said this, Vivek was about to say something when he saw the stone under the branch suddenly Vineet comes.  Sameer – “Look hereVineet, I brought these two mangoes from the tree and Vivek brought these two, now it is your turn, see that one delicious mango there, just take them off, then we will eat together. , Vineet says okay and clim...

What makes today's Indian Education System weak in compare to Gurukul( Ancient Education System)

There was a time when India was called the golden bird. Everyone was efficient in work as well as in intelligence, perhaps India was the only country where the efficiency of both work and intelligence was coordinated, because it is generally seen that where there is efficiency in work, there is no efficiency in intelligence. And where there is intelligence, there is no skill in action. Why was it coordinated in India? The answer is only one, the education system of that time i.e. Gurukul. Today we will discuss why the modern education system has failed to make the youth capable and also discuss how we can improve this failure by implementing many things of our Gurukul. Today India has many problems, poverty, unemployment, many efforts have been made and are being made to remove them, but have we been successful? In India, 65 out of every 100 people are young, they have the potential to take the country forward, but even today India has not been able to make good use of it, becaus...
